ATTN: Netgear, et al
Look. Netgear. Make this network actually work please. Because three days on the phone with tech support people and not actually getting anywhere with getting the wireless network to actually work - it's killing me. Everyone I've talked to (Hi, Shauna, Cindy, Sandeep (I think that was your name?), Faruk, Paul and Sandy!) has been really nice, but nothing productive comes out of our conversations. I know you're trying and all, but we always seem to end our conversations with the same network status as when it all began. For that, I don't like you very much right now. I'm sorry, and I'm sure you're all lovely people, but it all just makes me want to curl up in a fetal position for a good cry until the internet works all the time and without wires.

Oh my god, did you know that "unplug your modem and plug it back in" is a staple phrase for tech support EVERYWHERE?!
