Letdown

However much I want to write a poetic and well written post tonight, I just know it won't happen.

I miss this

Get Naked

It's a BOOK, you sicko.

And learn how to talk properly. The last chapter in this one is one of my favorites - ever.

Peat and Repeat

I've written nearly the exact same email to about 15 people today.

I should have just put up a blog post that said the same things I emailed and emailed round the link to everyone. But I didn't think of that until just now.

I think I've given myself repetitive strain injury.

I did get a massage today though. Apparently, after cracking my back a number of times, I should be 2 cm taller. Should this frighten me? Because it kind of does...

Cypriots

When I was at university, I shared a flat with a cypriot and there were over ten others that lived in our apartment complex. I couldn't help but think of my old flatmate and her family yesterday. I do hope they are well.

Had I had any Ouzo, I'd have drank iced ouzo and beat on my tupperware with wooden spoons to remind myself of them and the times we spent together while at university.

Trendy

There's been a lot of talk about Harry Potter lately. Which means, it goes without saying that someone's already made a silly quiz with a Harry Potter theme and put it on the internet.

See?

Live and Learn

To deter idiocy from occurring yet again, I went and bought a smart machine. It has a blinking light and everything.

I should have thought of that sooner.

Number 5 is alive

So the last time I was in the States I bought myself a laptop. That was a year and a half ago. I toiled over which laptop to buy for quite a while. I shopped online during the dead hours at the office. I went into stores and ogled the portable computers like there was no tomorrow. I pondered and I compared and I shopped. In the end I bought a laptop that was highly portable, stylishly small, somewhat unimpressive in the technology department, and has a brilliant screen, but what the decision really came down to was one that I just liked the look and feel of. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles. I'm a pretty easy girl for things like that. So what I ended up with was something that could in no way disappoint.

Long story short - you can have a kitten dump a glass of water on my laptop and after a week of no sign of life from the machine, it can come back from the dead.

Fortunately, or sadly depending on your take, the laptop I was eyeing to buy as a replacement is not yet needed. My bank account can thank me later.

In other news, I've been missing writing lately. So, if you know me, pretend like you never read anything in this place and I'll pretend like you aren't reading. Well, I can try to fake it to some extent. But for now, as it's some god awful hour of morning, I'll jot down some notes for stories for later and try to get back to them before the end of the year.
